An English Countryside Manor Wedding - London Wedding

We got the honor to help, plan, and execute Emily and Tom’s beautiful wedding at a breath taking Manor House in the British countryside called Hedsor House. They had over 100 guest travel far and wide to attend this glamorous wedding. The team at Verge Events (event planner) and Shoots The World (destination wedding photographer) helped us plan and execute this complicated (but not so complicated when you hire the pros) wedding! Why use a destination wedding team for your wedding?

You may be asking yourself what challenges can I encounter when planning my destination wedding? Well here are just a few that Emily and Tom came across. However, our team took care of it all and made sure that it was a stress free seamless planning process for them.

  1. Wedding Blocks - Communicating across the pond isn’t always the easiest. So let us do it for you! We will make sure your wedding blocks are good to go. Here we had to find 3 countryside hotels for guest to stay at that were close to Hedsor House.

  2. Guest travel - Since their venue was located in the countryside, guest landed in London but then had to get out to Surrey. Which meant car rentals, transfers, and train tickets. We provided guest with all the details for their travel.

  3. Pre and Post travel - If guest wanted to continue their vacation onto another European destination we were here to help!

  4. Different Culture traditions - Every country has different culture traditions. For example, in England no one has Welcome parties. Which meant we had to step in and find a venue that understood and was willing to execute the perfect welcome party for them. .

  5. Small Details - It is the little details that matter. For Emily and Tom;s wedding they provided welcome bags for their guest - We coordinated the distribution of welcome bags to all guest at their hotels. This is also an example of culture differences. In England wedding welcome bags aren’t really a thing. That didn’t stop us!
